Beginning with a national design award in 1980 for a West Coast medical
clinic, Steve Terhune has displayed an active interest in, and knowledge
of all types of health-related projects.
Working closely with health professionals, he has designed projects
including extensive hospital remodeling, skilled nursing facilities,
psychiatric facilities, housing projects for the elderly.
Currently, he is recognized as an expert in the area of elder-care
facilities, and is sought out as a consultant for independent living,
congregate living, assisted living, and alzheimers-care projects. His
knowledge of the specific needs of these residents, and strong
knowledge of health, ADA and HUD guidelines, assures his clients a
successful and profitable project.
